Collection: The Sketchbook Series

This collection of prints was born from a quiet, yearlong commitment I made to sketch something from nature every day. It was a personal challenge  – not just to build artistic discipline, but to practice seeing. Truly seeing. It was never about creating beautiful art (and much of the time I didn't), it was about creating a beautiful habit – of dedicated art time and of gratitude.

Each piece in this series began as small moment: a seagull soaring overhead, a deer at sunset, a hillside of aspen trees, a mallard floating in the river, a blue jay mid flight. I created a handmade sketchbook each month, and over the course of the year, I found myself growing in skill, yes – but more beautifully, in gratitude.

I selected just a handful of my favourite pages to share as prints – little windows into a practice that changed the way I create, and the way I see.

The Sketchbook Series is a visual journey of wonder. It reflects what I learned while sketching daily: that beauty is abundant, that creativity is a form of worship, and that noticing the world – even in its smallest details – is its own kind of devotion.

I hope these prints invite you to slow down, pay attention, and remember the joy of seeing with soft eyes and a full heart.
