Each piece was created to celebrate the small, sacred, often unnoticed lives that surround us — quiet testaments to the beauty and faithfulness of Creation.

Wren + Rose

A tribute to the tiny, quick-hearted wren — a little bird that stole my heart from the first moment I saw it — and to the wild rose of Alberta, a symbol of delicate resilience. I loved painting this piece and watching the purple umber pigment granulate across the paper, giving it an earthy, rosy softness.
