Owl + Elm

A painting inspired by a moment I’ll never forget — a late autumn evening in Windsor, Ontario, when the air was crisp and the trees stood bare, and I heard owls calling to one another across the forest while walking my dogs. I never did see them, but their voices echoed in my heart long after. This piece captures that memory: the stillness, the mystery, and the sacredness of being small beneath a wide, wise sky.
