Nuthatch + Willow

This piece holds a special place in my heart. I paired the red-breasted nuthatch with the graceful boughs of a willow — a nod to my sweet dog, Willow, who often curls up in the same little L-shape as the bird itself. Here in Quebec, I often spot nuthatches darting along tree trunks and hanging upside down at the feeder — a small daily joy that never fails to make me smile.
